Red Velvet Paul Butler Boxing Kit
We have been designing kit for professional boxer Paul Butler since he was an amateur fighter out of Wirral Boxing Club in Liverpool.
Paul has gone on to win the IBF World Title and is one of the most skilful fighters to come out of UK.
Promoted originally by Frank Warren, Paul recently moved to Matchroom Boxing and Sky Sports and has been in some big fights on the channel, including fighting Stuart Hall again.
Paul asked for a red boxing kit this time for his fight on the massive undercard of Bellew vs Haye 2 in London at the o2 Arena.
The design team set about designing a kit worthy of a world champion.
The Boxing Kit Design
The Suzi Wong design team got a few different red fabrics together to show Paul. We decided together the red velvet would be the nicest to work with the white snakeskin, trimmed in gold.
Paul decided he wanted some Austrian Crystals gold crystals on the names to make them stand out under the big lights of the o2 Arena. We also put some random hand placed crystals on the shorts and ring jacket, this really set the whole kit off and everyone was really pleased with the whole look and feel of the kit.
We matched the shorts with the specially developed SW Boxing Socks to really finish the kit off.
When we design a kit we create a computer drawing to show sponsors, clubs, and fighters. This helps to generate an image of what the actual kit will look like and also gives everyone a chance to change colours, move logos, try different fonts and fabrics.
