It’s always a great pleasure to design for Anthony, and this was extra special given the disappointment over Christmas when he pursued an intruder breaking into his neighbours home after gifts, and was left with a fractured skull and broken ankle. It’s a dream for any Manchester fighter to fight for a World Title in their home city in an Arena you have watched the greats of your childhood win titles in. Crolla as to face Perez under the guidance of Joe Gallager for the World Title. This was an extra special event and we wanted to make sure he felt and looked a million dollars to suit his ring name ‘Million $ Crolla’. We designed these shorts especially for Anthony, after he had the same style for a few fights just changing the colours we felt it was time for a change. We went for White leatherette red and black wet look trimmed in gold and Swarovski crystals on the $ sign and name to make it really bling under the bright lights of the Manchester Arena. What a night it was, Anthony looked a million dollars and performed amazing, being very unlucky to not get the decision, this has led to him having a rematch confirmed for November 2015. We also produced another pair of shorts in case of a clash and a special suit bag to keep all the kit night and neat in ready for fight night.
