Custom Made Boxing Kit
Anthony came in to see us in the studio to go over ideas he had. Usually he is very relaxed about this process as we have been working together for a long time, so he takes direction on what we think.
This time we wanted to go for a grey, it’s very on trend at present and we had specially made grey marble fabric brought in. We trimmed with gold metallic, Austrian Crystals crystals and black faux leather band and stud.
Crolla Fight Kits
This really is something very different for Crolla he has previously had quite heavy mix fabric shorts, but this short is very light, allowing for better movement during the fight.
We also went for a ring jacket, the first time Anthony will wear a ring jacket in his career. This was a plan beaucse of the size of the stadium, time for the ring walk and if the roof was taken off the stadium, it would mean he would lose his heat from the changing room, by the time he started fighting.
Planning
At Suzi Wong we take all factors into consideration, likely hood of fight distance, location, weight of fighter and experience. Fight kit can play a massive part in the fight. How much water will the shorts retain, does this make a difference in the later rounds when the boxer is tired. How heavy are the shorts when fully made up.
We try to think about the technical aspect of everything we do and this sets us apart from others.
