Michael Conlan is a huge Irish boxing star. Singed with the legendary Bob Arum under Top Rank. Michaels usual fight night slot is now cemented at Madison Square Garden on St Patricks Day weekend in New York.
Unfortunately Michael didn’t get to wear these fight shorts as Covid 19 hit the event and subsequently all boxing events worldwide.
Last St Patricks Day in New York we designed and made a GGG style ceremonial robe for Michael, this year the Irish Tartan was the fabric of choice
Tartan Boxing Shorts
With the special occasion of St Patricks day we wanted the boxing shorts to represent Michael and his heritage in the boxing ring.
We came up with the idea of using a green Irish tartan velvet fabric, trimmed in gold metallic lurex, black velvet side panels with gold sparkle shamrocks on the side, with a gold leather waistband.
The waistband embroidered names where adorned in thousands of Austrian Crystals tone on tone, along with random gold Austrian Crystals shamrocks on the side panels.
All our crystal work is hand done by our specialist crystal team. Austrian Crystals are a luxury product and add the extra sparkle and bling need in the ring.
