Velvet is visually striking but technically demanding: it requires careful cutting to maintain pile direction and consistent colour depth, and it must be constructed to avoid bulk at stress points. The Suzi Wong Team used specialist pattern placement and seam planning to keep the shorts comfortable and fight-ready while preserving the luxurious drape of the fabric. Metallic gold trims and crystal elements were applied to maximise stage impact without compromising movement—critical in Custom Boxing when the garment must look exceptional yet still function flawlessly.
