A Bespoke Boxing Statement for Nelson
This project was all about impact: Nelson wanted a premium look that felt modern and sharp, without sacrificing the performance features needed in elite competition. The Suzi Wong Team developed a concept that combines a black sequin base with metallic silver panels, finished with electric blue trim and tassel detailing—an unapologetically bold aesthetic built on a technically robust foundation. As with all our Bespoke Boxing work, the final design was refined to suit Nelson’s ring presence, stance and movement so the kit looks as good in motion as it does in stills.
Materials & Finish: Sequins, Metallics and Electric Blue Contrast
Working with sequin and metallic fabrics requires specialist handling to maintain a clean, high-end finish. For Nelson’s Custom Boxing Shorts, the sequin body was selected for maximum sparkle under arena lighting, while the metallic silver sections were chosen to create a structured, reflective contrast.
