Nearly two years ago, our team at Suzi Wong began working on the full wardrobe of custom boxing costumes for a film chronicling the electrifying career of Prince Naseem Hamed. From his early amateur days through to the iconic big nights that made him a household name, we were behind every stitch of his in-ring style – and yes, that includes all of his opponents’ kits too.
This was a massive project for us that we worked on nearly some 2 years ago where we chronicled Prince Naseem’s career from amateur boxer to HUGE nights.”

Working closely with the costume department and director, we brought the essence of each era to life – from classic satin trunks and tassels to the flamboyant colours and detailing that made Prince Naz a showman like no other. Every piece was researched, designed, and made in-house to ensure accuracy, authenticity, and that signature Suzi Wong quality.
This was more than just kit – it was a tribute to one of British boxing’s most captivating legends.
