Set to close with show with fight works, seeing the much awaited rematch of Katie Taylor and Delfine Persoon on the undercard. Ending in the heavyweight clash. Dillian Whyte vs Alexander Povetkin Povetkin is a skilled operator in the ring, an olympic gold medalist and with defeats on his record to only Anthony Joshua and Klitschko. Dillian Whyte has his work cut out for him, but wants the big challenges in the ring. With the WBC sanctioning the winner to fight the winner of Tyson Fury v Wilder 3, it’s all on the line. We took insipiration from Stormy performance at Glastonbury on the main stage and created a custom fit style stab vest. Complete with buckles on the shoulders, padding on the front and back and straps with buckles, this is the ultimate ring wear. Finished off with Dillian’s custom wolf, MAXIMUM VIOLENCE over the front. All embroidery and the electric green wolf where encrusted with hand places thousands of Austrian Crystals. It’s fight night at the Manchester Arena for local lad Scott Quigg vs Jono Carroll. A packed arena awaits both Scott Quigg with his Bury fans and Irish Jono Carroll’s, travelling Army. It’s been three years since Scott last fought in UK at Wembley Arena on the undercard to the amazing Heavyweight Anthony Joshua vs Klitschko and 4 years since he last fought in Manchester. Having based himself for the past 4 years out in Los Angeles USA at the Wildcard Gym with the legendary Freddie Roach, Scott is now back in Manchester training under the great Joe Gallagher in Bolton at Amir Khans Gym. Sky Sports Boxing Fight Night Live on Sky Sports again Scott in set to shine under the bright lights of Manchester wearing bespoke Suzi Wong personalised boxing shorts and ring jacket. As is customary we always make Scott two fight kits one white and one black trimmed with gold Mexican and adorned in Austrian Crystals gold letting. He has worn both colours previously and we will wait to see the colour he picks this evening. Tyson Fury vs Wilder 2 Las Vegas Nevada MGM Grand What an evening for British Heavyweight boxing and the self proclaimed ‘Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury. Headlining the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, fighting boxings heavy puncher Wilder for the second time. The first fight ended in a draw, but this time Tyson promised to take it to Wilder from the first bell and boy did he do that. This was a boxing masterclass from the 6’9″ Tyson. Weighting in at 273lbs with new trainer from the legendary Kronk Boxing Gym, he looked like a middleweight in the ring. One the front foot from round 1 Tyson dominated Wilder, knocking him off his feet in the 3rd and with Wilder bleeding heavily from his ear, it looked like the end was nearing. Wilder dug deep but his corner had seen enough come round 7 and the towel was thrown in from his corner, saving him from further punishment. A true masterclass from Tyson. A heavyweight moving like a middleweight. Featuring David Price vs David Allen and Derek Chisora and Polish Artur Szpilka on a packed o2 London bill broadcast on Sky Sports Box Office.  Once again Dillian takes the risky fight, to earn his shot at Wilder the WBC Heavyweight holder. After his only defeat to Anthony Joshua in 2015 Dillian has been training hard over at Loughborough University with top S&C coaches, and a quality team around him, working his way to the top. WBC Charlie Edwards Newly crowned WBC Champion Charlie Edwards makes his first defence of the prestigious green and gold belt this weekend.  Headlining o2 Copperbox Arena in London on a massive Matchroom Boxing show. Charlie takes on Spaniard Angel Moreno in his 16th fight. Now training over at Steel City Boxing Gym with Grant Smith Charlie has made massive steps in the professional game. After fighting around the world for Britain on the GB squads as a youngster, Charlie always had the pedigree to become something very special. Bespoke Boxing Shorts Suzi Wong has been working with Charlie Edwards since his amateur boxing days at the famous Repton Boxing Club who also wear the green and gold boxing shorts. Charlie wanted to have a big WBC badge on the back of his jacket.  We incorporated all the names of people who have helped him win the WBC World Title around the badge. We made the suggestion to print these names on the shorts background.  Then it’s as though they’re in the ring with him. We went for a clean white crisp satin look, trimmed in green leather, and WBC inspired flag pattern down the sides. On the back of the jacket, arms read AND STILL in a red glitter for when he puts his arms out walking to the ring. Celtic Boxing Robe For Michael Conlan Olympian and prestigious professional fighter Michael Conlan came to see us at the Suzi Wong design studio in early January. He had a mammoth task that only Suzi Wong could complete for him. A boxing robe embroidered head to toe in traditional Celtic patterns. The perfect ring entrance for a St Patricks Day fight at the historic Madison Square Garden, New York. Contact The Design Team Today The Making of a Masterpiece  The making of this masterpiece really was a unique challenge. Michael wanted everything embroidered and with the gown over 1.5m in length this was a big task. In total, the gown alone took over 18 hours on the embroidery machines. Well over 24 hours of production time went into the production of this couture gown for Michael. With the shorts included the whole kit took over 40 hours to produce.  Conlan vs Hernandez Michael will take on Hernandez at Madison Square Garden on 17th March 2019 on St Patricks Day. Former world champion James DeGale takes on Chris Eubank Jr in what promises to be an intriguing affair, with both men potentially putting their careers on the line in the process.
