Dillian Whyte The Heavyweight Rise Dillian Whyte has had a roller coaster few years after suffering a loss from old amateur rival Anthony Joshua.  He has changed his coach his whole training program, moved to Loughborough to work out of the renowned sports facility, enduring many performance tests, and what a difference it has made!! His rise to heavyweight fame has been outstanding.  Fighting the likes of British favourites David Allen and all time great Derek Chisora in Manchester in what was one of the best all British Heavyweight fights we have seen in a long time, Dillian stocks have risen. After the emphatic performance against ex world champion Lucas Browne where Dillian won by TKO there were calls for a rematch with AJ to take place at Wembley stadium.  This seems a few fights out with Joshua fighting Povetkin next and possibly a clash with the US super star Deontay Wilder, Eddie Hearn, Matchroom Boxing and Sky Sports arranged a fighting with Joshua’s last opponent Australian Joseph Parker. Parker tested Joshua and was the first fighter to make him work the 12 rounds, so this was a good test for Dillian. Dillian Whyte vs Joseph Parker WHAT A FIGHT !!!!!!! Whyte vs Parker is without doubt one of the best 12 round heavyweight bust ups on British soil for many years. The whole card was packed full of great fights, from the likes of Joshua Buatsi, Anthony Fowler, Katie Taylor, Derek Chisora vs Takam which ended in a TKO win for Chisora, the whole PPV Box Office card was filled with amazing fights, Whyte vs Parker just put the cherry on top of one of the best British boxing shows we have seen in many years. Return of the Mack Tonight marks the return of the Heavyweight King Tyson Fury. After having suffering with depression and some demons, Tyson returns this evening on a headline BT Sport and Frank Warren show at a sold out Manchester Arena. The show features some great fights including Terry Flanagan who aims to become a 2 x weight world champion fight Hooker in his home town. Also featuring on the show are Lyndon Arthur, Jack Flatley, Mark Heffron, Zac Burton, Zelfa Barrett, Jordan Thomspon and many more.  Its going to be a great night of boxing for the UK and worldwide heavyweight fans. Tyson Fury Boxing Shorts We have made Tysons short through out official SW supplier in London Boxfit UK. Working together on many collaborations you can head down to their store to be fitted and design you own custom kit made by us in our Lancashire factory. Tyson had a meeting with the Boxfit team and they sent us the design over to make.  Going with a camo theme, Tyson had three pair of shorts made, one black velvet one full camo and one velvet and camo.  Along with a matching black velvet robe for the ring walk. Jorge Linares vs Vasyl Lomachenko  A fight the boxing world has been waiting for, a real 50/50 fight with two boxing greats.  Head lining at Madison Square Garden May 12th 2018 this is destined to be fight of the year.  Lomachenko is considered one of boxing greats, and unstoppable but Jorge Linares is a four weight world champion on a roll with recent defeats against Anthony Crolla, Luke Campbell and Gesta. Jorge is a special special fighter, powerful, the more natural at 134pounds and the more active boxer and without doubt a future hall of fame candidate.  This is a fight the boxing world has been waiting for and the world will be watching on Saturday.  We are very lucky at SW to be great friends with Jorge and the team, and will be travelling over to NY as part of the team, and to deliver Jorge custom made fight night ring wear.  Its a great privilege to design and make Jorge kit and he treats us with the upmost respect, taking us to USA on many fight nights.  Madison Square Garden  What a venue Madison Square Garden is, much like MGM in Las Vegas, many historic a fight night has taken place under the roof of The Garden.    Another historic night is on the cards, and the night is filled with great fights also on the undercard including Irelands Mick Conlan, now training with Adam Booth and Josh Kelly.  Linares Fight Night Kit  Working with Jorge for a number of fights now he trust out judgement on fight wear, and we have got to know over time what we likes and dosen’t.  After the last two fights wear custom came Fightwear, we decided to go back to the traditional black and gold for such an epic night.  Now

Tony Bellew vs David Haye 2  What a night at the o2 Arena for Tony Bellew. A long time in the making but Bellew vs Haye 2 finally got under way on May 5th 2018.  What an honour once again for Suzi Wong to make both fighters fight night outfits.  The Suzi Wong Way At SW we pride ourselves on going the extra mile for fighters, especially when it is such a big fight.  We went over to see Tony on Tuesday evening at his family home to do the final kit reveal.  As it was such a momentous occasion we made Tony Bellew’s three boys a pair of matching shorts to remember the event by.  We can make kids shorts from new born all the way up and many fighters like to purchase a special gift.  We went for a classic Everton blue velvet trimmed with gold sparkle and Austrian Crystals stars.  Dedicating the fight to Ashley his late brother in law we put this nice and big on the front waistband and back ring jacket in red Swarovski. It was an emotional evening for Tony but what a job he did.  Delivered in the special SW suit bag to commemorate the special evening.  David Haye Boxing Shorts  Getting the fit on David’s shorts was a challenge for us.  We did an original fitting in London at the gym, but then a new protector was purchased and this proved a challenge at the protector was so big.  We had to send down a number of different sample fit shorts, to get the fit right with this very large protector.  After seeing David in Los Angeles at the Linares v Gesta fight we discussed the style he would wear.  David wanted to go back to the old school, and his

Dillian Whyte v Lucas Browne Dillian Whyte fights Lucas Browne at the London o2 Arena next Saturday live on Sky Sports for the heavyweight WBC Silver belt. Having had previous knock out fights with Derek Chisora and Anthony Joshua, Dillian is a fighter who the British public love. We have always worked very closely with Dillian on his boxing kit and this time we have designed a custom Lone Wolf T-Shirt for his fans to purchase. The Fight Night Kit We have of course designed some beautiful boxing kits for Dillian Whyte his last boxing kit was one of our most extravagant to date with thousands of Austrian Crystals hand placed by Ella one of our very talented SW staff members. Tony Bellew v David Haye 2 The first fight was so epic we are getting treated to a second and Tony Bellew v David Haye 2 is set to be an all out Heavyweight classic in the boxing world.  May 5th is the set date and we at SW are very excited to be working with both Tony Bellew and David Haye once again, designing and making both kits at our Lancashire studio in Suzi Wong HQ. The Boxing Shorts Fitting We recently went down to London to see David Haye for a fitting and design consultation. He we make sure the shorts cut and fit is correct and make adjustments.  Heavyweight fighters are one of the hardest to get right as the weights can be greatly different. We had pre prepared some design concepts (this is a secret for fight night) based on colours David gave us and then presented them to him to choose what he thought. We went over fabrics, trims, embroidered and print options to get to the final design. Our Suzi Wong Design Studio We design and consult at our Lancashire studio normally but some fighters to pay for us to travel to them based on their location and time restrains especially during big fight preparations but we do have a purpose-built design studio where you can make an appointment and come in to see us. Here we are all set up with the latest fabrics, trims and boxing shorts, ring jackets, socks, gowns, tracksuits, t-shirts and anything else you may need to get in the ring fully kitted out.  We have a computer set up and design on the spot there based on fabric choices. Preparing For World Title Charlie Edwards performed great, producing a six-round points win over Jose Aguilar in Germany, you can see the kit worn by Edwards below, the kit consisted of gold wetlook shorts and a Swarovski name. Edwards will fight for the world title against IBF world flyweight king John Riel Casimero on the Gennady Golovkin vs Kell Brook undercard on September 10, he will be wearing a specially designed Suzi Wong kit for the big fight so watch this area for updates on the kit.

Tommy Coyle vs Tyrone Nurse Tommy Coyle will be fighting Tyrone Nurse at the First Direct Arena for the British super-lightweight title. Coyle is currently the IBF International lightweight champion and after his last fight where he lost against Luke Campbell he is hoping to redeem himself. For the highly anticipated British title fight, Suzi Wong will be supplying Coyle with his kit for this momentous occasion. Dillian Whyte vs David Allen The British heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte will be going against the unbeaten Dave Allen on July 30th at the First Direct Arena in Leeds. Dillian will be wearing a custom Suzi Wong kit with white and black ostrich trim. Frankie Gavin Frankie will be making a return this July after being defeated by Kell Brook last May for the world title. Frankie is donned Britain’s best amateur once he returns back to the pro ring.    

Manchesters Anthony Crolla Faces Jorge Linares On September 24th We are honoured to be able to work with and make a kit for the WBA lightweight champion Anthony Crolla. As you can see above Crolla came in with his world title belt so we could sit down and design his kit for the big fight, we’ll soon have the kit made and ready to go so check this space for updates. The Fight The fight will take place at Manchester Arena on the 24th of September. This will be one of the biggest most entertaining fights this year as two incredibly talented boxers (WBA lightweight champion and former three-weight world champion) will be showing the years of dedication and passion in the ring when they fight for the WBC, WBA and Ring titles. The Manchester hero Crolla really does have a huge test as he aims to unify the division by taking this enormous opportunity to fight the Venezuelan Linares who is putting the WBC Diamond belt on the line for the third time. Back in December 2014 Linares became a three-division world champion when he got a fourth round knockout against Javier Prieto, this means that if “Million Dollar” Crolla is successful, he can become the first Englishman to win the Ring Magazine Lightweight title. This incredible fight will be the seventh time in succession that Crolla has boxed at the Manchester arena in his hometown, even though Linares has fought in no fewer than eight countries the local hero “Million Dollar” is expecting the support from his fans to be bigger then ever.  Crolla says “I hope people want to be part of that atmosphere because i’m very fortunate the way they come out. Suzi Wong Kits Worn In Three Big Fights At The O2 London It’s been amazing to be able to supply kits for some of the worlds best boxers especially recently at the O2 in London. We were honoured to supply kits for both boxers in the big domestic fight between George Groves and Martin Murray! Murray Picks Up His Kit As you can see above we were visited by the four-time world title challenger Murray himself when he came to pick up his kit. The fight itself was spectacular to see, both boxers fought with true passion and was certainly a fight to see. In the end Groves won the fight which locks him in as the mandatory challenge to WBA super middleweight champion Giovanni De Carolis. Tom Doran vs Chris Eubank It was a pleasure seeing Doran when he came to pick up his kit which you can see above. Even though Doran lost the fight in the fourth round he still put up a good fight against Eubank, landing some quick left hooks and right hands, showing off impressive hand speed and power. Dillian Whyte Knocks Out Ivica Bacurin The Brixton “Body Snatcher” Dillan Whyte managed to knock out his opponent Ivica Bacurin in six rounds! After his defeat to Anthony Joshua in December Whyte underwent shoulder surgery causing him to take some time off but has made a great victorious return. Whyte is now wanting to compete for the vacant British heavyweight title later this year and will be out again on the 30th of July.
