If he stops his Belgian opponent this weekend with the same brutality we have seen over the last 12 months, the ‘Sandman’ will no doubt be knocking on the door of some familiar British and world lightweight talents.

The undercard is stacked full of great domestic talent, with chief support and potential fight of the night contender being Suzi Wong regular Robbie Davies Jr vs Glenn Foot for the British Super Lightweight title. Fighting for the famous Lord Lonsdale Belt always seems to capture the imagination of boxers and fans alike, bringing out that extra 1%, which is the difference between winning and losing and in this case, cementing part of a legacy for years to come. Both fighters believe they will be victorious, so expect fireworks from the 1st Round.
