BLACK FRIDAY 2023 – WHY WE ARE NOT TAKING PART THIS YEAR

The team at Suzi Wong has made the decision not to take part in Black Friday 2023.

Here we’ll explain a few reasons behind this decision and we’ll highlight exactly what we are doing instead to help our customers continue to purchase the best custom Boxing Shorts, Fightwear and Training Kit from Suzi Wong in the run up to Christmas.

BLACK FRIDAY IN THE PAST

In previous years the Suzi Wong team have taken part in Black Friday, offering huge discounts on all of the products on our site. These offers have been hugely successful and often resulted in the busiest week of our entire year. However, this short period with such large order numbers had a few negative effects.

  1. Production times needed to be raised for all orders
  2. Staff were required to work overtime
  3. Christmas delivery times were increased

2023 AT SUZI WONG

This year has been one of our most successful years to date. 

With Professional Fighters at the top of the sport choosing to enter the boxing ring time after time wearing Bespoke Suzi Wong Kit. Including Tyson Fury, to KSI, Tommy Fury, Jack Catterall, Jorge Linares, Chantelle Cameron, Tasha Jonas, Terri Harper and many more – our designs have once again graced the biggest stages of all this year.

This continued success means that as a company, we don’t need to run a Black Friday sale.

Increasing orders so drastically in a short space of time simply puts our team under unnecessary stresses. Our professional seamstresses and garment designers do a fantastic job at producing high quality garments time and time again. To ask them to increase their workload simply adds extra pressure, that could lead to mistakes. By removing this from our annual calendar this year, we are protecting the quality of our products for everyone.

The trust both Professional and Amateur Boxers place in the quality of our workmanship throughout the year is unwavering and we will continue to work to produce the highest quality Boxing Kit available on the market. Thanks for the continued support.
