The journey so far

Antoine Vanackère has had an amazing journey so far in boxing. As an amateur he won 2 Belgian amateurs titles, then went on to win international tournaments (Limerick-Ireland, Hillerod-Denmark , Slovakia) and took part in the 2016 Olympic Qualifiers in Samsun-Turkey.

As a pro he has won one minor title so far (LFB champion) which is for the French part of Belgium and was schedule to fight for the IBF youth title but the Coronavirus had other plans.

When did you start boxing?

"I was born into boxing because my dad was a boxing coach and became a boxing promoter in Belgium. I did my first boxing training ever when I was 6 years old, but I really started training (with the purpose of fighting) when I was 14."
